Dr. Eunhae Hwang is a passionate and caring dentist serving the comminity of greater Boston area. Providing excellent quality and personalized dental care is what Dr. Hwang focuses on the most, with a strong emphasis on quality and esthetics.
Dr. Hwang received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from University of Rhode Island and received her D.M.D from Boston University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and American Dental Association.
Dr. Hwang is fluent in English and Korean.
It was at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where Dr. Neela Gandhi received her DMD degree in 2006. Before her career at Tufts University, she earned her BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from University of Manchester, UK. In 1994, she practiced in Nairobi, Kenya and also worked as a clinical associate in the Craniofacial Pain Center at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
In addition to treating patients, she also invests time in organized dentistry. In 2007-08, she was nominated in the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) Leadership Institute program, resulting in her eventual selection as representative for Council on Membership for Metropolitan District Dental Society (MDDS), which she continues to chair. She also received the 2010 William McKenna Volunteer award from the Massachusetts Dental Society. Other accolades she holds include being a member of the District Reorganization task force, 150th MDS Anniversary task force, Guest board member and President of Charles River Dental Study club. She is also an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), American Dental Association, Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and past President of the United India Association of New England.
In the office, Dr. Gandhi is passionate about all aspects of general dental care, including cosmetic and Invisalign services. She appreciates the satisfaction of providing comfort to her patients as they overcome their fear of dentistry and anticipate a brighter, healthier smile.
Dr. Gandhi was also honored by the Metropolitan Dental Society as the 18th recipient of the Robert L. Burke, DDS Memorial Volunteer Award in 2017.
Dr. Shea is a 1997 graduate of Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine, a Certificate for Graduate Training in Periodontology, and in 2001 she received a Doctorate of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology. During her post-doctoral studies, she received the prestigious Dentist Scientist Award from the National Institutes of Health and conducted research on bone metabolism at Boston’s Children’s Hospital and Boston University School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Shea is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Her memberships include the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Shea specializes in all aspects of periodontal treatment, including scaling and root planing, gingival grafts, periodontal surgery, and dental implants. She is passionate about educating her patients on the importance of periodontal health.
Dr. Seifelnasr AKA “Dr.Safe” had an interesting diverse upbringing which allowed him to explore multiple parts of the world. He grew up in Greece, England and finally Egypt, where he completed his initial dental school training followed by a masters in endodontics. He then decided to reunite with his family in the United States and pursued an American dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry. After that, he decided to specialize, once again in my favorite dental specialty which is endodontics. He obtained his certificate in endodontics as well as his masters from West Virginia University. Dr.Seifelnasr is married and is blessed with three beautiful children. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing with his children and volunteering in schools to teach children how to take care of their teeth.
Dr.Seifelnasr’s passion for endodontics is because he believes that nothing could replace a patients original tooth, simply nature gave us something precious to look after and keep, his goal is to utilize our latest technological advancements and strongest scientific evidence to save his patients teeth and provide his patients with a pleasant and relaxing experience.
